The CDC serves as the County’s affordable housing and community and economic development agency. Information regarding the programs listed below can be obtained Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by calling the telephone number provided in each section.
BUSINESS LOANS AND GRANTS

A variety of loans are available for working capital and equipment, and land acquisition.
Grants are also provided to refurbish business facades.
FIRST-TIME HOMEOWNERSHIP ASSISTANCE

Provides financial assistance to low- and moderate-income individuals and families
through various programs that enable qualifiers to purchase their first homes.
HOUSING REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE

Loans and grants are available to low-income homeowners in need of assistance to
rehabilitate their dwellings.
RENTAL HOUSING ASSISTANCE

Provides subsidized housing at its public housing sites and also subsidizes off-site
renters through the Section 8 program.
CHILD CARE GRANTS AND LOANS

Grants and loans provided to assist business persons in building and expanding child
care facilities.
