The CDC strengthens neighborhoods by building healthier, more vibrant communities. The Commission works to preserve and expand the County’s supply of affordable housing through rehabilitation loans and emergency grants. With the help of community partners, the CDC builds and provides financing for new, affordable rental units and for-sale housing.
Financial assistance for first-time homebuyers is also available through several programs, including the Home Ownership Program, Mortgage Credit Certificates and Mortgage Revenue Bonds.
